BELLINI

 This concealed folly structure serves as a 1,200 square foot guest house and complimentary storage structure on a 53,000 square foot estate property which also functions as a rear yard extension, atop Topanga Canyon where Catalina island is visible on blustery clear days. In fact, while designing with the client on site, we learned of the optical illusion: “infinity landscape” occurring similar to infinity pools which may occur along an exterior edge blending into a surrounding environment.  The project serves as a quick isolated, exclusive privacy space.
