RISING HILL

 This 9.6 acre rugged mountainous site inspires us to transform the land into a model community demonstrating environmentally inspirational, sustainable and net zero, carbon neutral smart development. We are charged with subdividing this hilly plot replete with a dreamy meadow of heritage Oak trees into several parcels that will function with minimal energy consumption and contains a common organic garden that taps into its own water source from the 320 foot deep well.  Solar panels and green roofs shall be implemented together with radiant heated floor systems for maximum thermal comfort.   Submerging the architecture into the land reduces the overall energy budget.
